Greg Wright, QuickBooks Product Manager, recently had some good news on QuickBooks online banking problems. His posts to the QuickBooks online banking problems forum are a big help. http://community.intuit.com/post/detail/db1_IYMvSr3yp1acfARklS
He now expects an initial QuickBooks online banking problems fix in mid-December, not late December. He is pushing hard and escalating with Bank of America, to fix their 2009 QuickBooks online banking problems. Delays in this update have nothing to do with QuickBooks online banking problems, but some BofA reps do not know this. There is a web connect workaround (download a statement as a file, rather than directly connect through QB). Here are the steps for this:
1) Log into the Bank of America website with your user id and password.
2) Look for an option to download statements to QuickBooks. You want a .QBO extension file
3) Save the file and then select open.
4) Alternatively, open your QuickBooks company file, go to the File menu, select Utilities,
Import, and Web Connect. Browse to your saved file and select Open.
At one point Google had 319,000 web pages, updated in the last month, with: QuickBooks online banking problems. This was apparently in error, as it only reports about 35,000 such pages now. It also seems, however, that the fix to the QuickBooks online banking problems are not the only QuickBooks problems that need fixing. Therefore, we now say do not ungrade QuickBooks until we see the results of the fix to the QuickBooks online banking probnlems.
